Short version: PhoneWalls is a wallpaper and creative customization app. You can browse and download wallpapers without creating an account. An optional Google sign-in enables account sync and purchase restoration. We use analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and advertising services to operate and improve the app. You can manage ad privacy choices in the app’s Settings.
01 Scope and acceptance
This Privacy Policy applies to the PhoneWalls mobile application, related support interactions, and services operated by YTECHB (“PhoneWalls,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not apply to third-party websites, stores, ad networks, or services that have their own privacy notices.
By using PhoneWalls, you acknowledge this policy. Where applicable law requires consent, we request it through the app or through the relevant third-party service before that service processes information for the relevant purpose.
02 Information we collect
The information collected depends on the features you use, the permissions you grant, your privacy choices, and whether you sign in or purchase PhoneWalls Premium.

Information that is optional
You can browse wallpapers, save local favorites, download content, and use many app features without signing in. Google sign-in is optional, but it is required for certain account-sync and purchase-sync features. If you do not grant a permission, the related feature may not work, but other parts of the app can usually continue to work.
Photos, gallery content, and on-device processing
When you choose an image from your device, PhoneWalls uses the Android photo picker or the storage access granted by Android for that action. Image editing, background removal, depth effects, and widget preparation are designed to run on your device. PhoneWalls does not use selected personal photos for advertising or upload them to our servers as part of these features. Files you intentionally share through Android’s share sheet are then handled by the app or service you select.
PhoneWalls does not request access to your contacts or precise location. Advertising or other third-party services may independently estimate a general location from an IP address or device signals under their own policies.
03 How we use information
We and our service providers use information as needed to:
- deliver wallpaper browsing, search, downloads, favorites, editing, live wallpapers, widgets, and automatic wallpaper changes;
- remember local settings, cached content, consent choices, and feature preferences;
- provide optional sign-in, cross-device synchronization, streak progress, and Premium entitlement synchronization;
- verify Google Play purchases and keep Premium access accurate when a purchase is refunded, expires, or changes state;
- display, frequency-control, measure, and improve advertising for non-Premium users;
- send notifications when you enable them and respect your in-app notification setting;
- measure sessions, feature use, search and wallpaper interactions, performance, crashes, and memory or stability issues;
- secure the service, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations; and
- respond to support requests, feedback, copyright notices, and privacy requests.
Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include providing the service you ask for, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving PhoneWalls, and compliance with legal obligations.
05 Advertising and privacy choices
PhoneWalls is supported by advertising for users who have not unlocked Premium. Ads may include native, interstitial, rewarded, or other formats. Premium users may receive an ad-free experience according to the applicable purchase or subscription terms.
Google Mobile Ads and its mediation partners may use device identifiers, IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and approximate location signals to serve, measure, limit, and protect advertising. Whether ads are personalized depends on your region, consent, device settings, and the choices you make in the consent form.
Manage your choices: If the privacy-options control is available, open PhoneWalls → Settings → Privacy choices to review or withdraw advertising consent. You can also manage Android advertising-ID controls in Android Settings and control notification permission in Android Settings.
Withdrawing ad consent may result in contextual or limited ads, fewer available ads, or no ads in some regions. It does not delete a Google Play purchase or cancel a subscription.
06 Local storage, cloud storage, and retention
On your device
PhoneWalls stores settings, cached wallpaper data, local favorites, downloads, edits, widget/live-wallpaper data, consent signals, and other app data on your device. You can clear app data through Android settings; downloaded files may also remain in the gallery or folder you selected and may need to be deleted there separately. Uninstalling the app normally removes app-private data, but does not remove files you saved into shared storage.
In the cloud
If you sign in, we may store account-linked favorites, streak progress, Premium entitlement information, purchase-verification records, and related security or audit information. Cloud records are protected by account-based access controls. Public wallpaper catalog and trending content are not your personal account data.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating the service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, supporting purchases, and meeting legal or accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by data type and provider. Analytics, crash reports, advertising records, notification records, and Google Play records may be retained by those providers under their policies.
07 Your choices and privacy rights
- Notifications: turn notifications off in PhoneWalls settings or Android settings.
- Advertising choices: use the in-app Privacy choices control where available, and use Android’s advertising controls.
- Permissions: revoke storage, photo, or notification permission through Android settings. Some features may stop working.
- Account access: sign out of PhoneWalls at any time. Signing out stops account sync on that device but does not delete the Google account itself.
- Account deletion: signed-in users can use PhoneWalls → Settings → Delete account. This requests deletion of the PhoneWalls account and account-linked server records that we maintain. It does not automatically delete files, downloads, photos, settings, or other data stored only on your device.
- Purchases: Google Play manages payment and subscription cancellation. Deleting a PhoneWalls account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage it in Google Play.
- Privacy requests: depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. Contact us if you cannot use the in-app controls.
Account deletion note: Deleting the PhoneWalls account and cancelling a Google Play subscription are separate actions. Please manage the subscription in Google Play to prevent future renewal.
08 Children’s privacy
PhoneWalls is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review and take appropriate action.
09 Security and international transfers
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections where supported, account-based access rules for cloud data, and limited access to operational systems. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
PhoneWalls and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and comply with applicable data-protection requirements.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PhoneWalls features, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Your continued use of PhoneWalls after an update means the revised policy applies to future use. If a change requires consent, we will request it where required.
